From the headwaters to Kettleburgh — this is the community we protect.
UDOG covers the upper River Deben from the extremities of the catchment north of Debenham, south to Kettleburgh, where it meets our sister organisation, the Lower Deben Owners Group.
One river. Fourteen parishes. One shared challenge.
The upper Deben catchment takes in 14 parish councils and a mix of farmland, small
villages and businesses. Everything that happens to water in this catchment — from
the fields at the top to the river running through Debenham — is connected.
We are stronger together.
UDOG works closely with a network of partner organisations who share our goals for
a healthy, resilient river system.
